Integration Developer, SAP Integrations

We are looking for an experienced Integration Developer to join our SAP Integrations team and build, maintain, and evolve business-critical integrations across our global IT landscape. In this role, you will work with SAP integration technologies to ensure seamless, secure, and reliable data exchange between SAP and non-SAP systems

You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, project teams, and IT colleagues across Europe and the Americas to deliver robust integration solutions that support Outokumpu's digital transformation

Your Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions using SAP Integration Suite, SAP CPI, SAP PO, and related technologies.
• Build and support interfaces, data mappings, and integration flows between SAP and non-SAP applications.
• Develop custom integration components using technologies such as ABAP, Java, XML, REST, and SOAP
• Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into efficient technical solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration performance, reliability, and security.
• Ensure integration solutions follow architecture standards, development best practices, and documentation requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and adoption of modern integration technologies and methods

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Several years of hands-on experience in SAP integration development.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Integration Suite, SAP CPI, SAP PI/PO, and SAP integration concepts.
• Experience integrating SAP and non-SAP applications using REST APIs, SOAP services, and messaging technologies.
• Development experience with ABAP, Java, XML, or similar technologies
• Understanding of SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and related business processes.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience with Azure Integration Services, Tibco, IBM Integration solutions, or other cloud integration platforms is seen as advantage
