VAT Controller (Fixed - Term, - 12 Month Contract)

About the Role:

What your mission with us will include

• Analyze and ensure correct set-up in the ERP system to secure VAT requirements
• Work as an in-house VAT consultant on ad hoc questions for international VAT issues
• Ensure that legislation changes are reflected in the ERP system and communicated to relevant stakeholders in the Group.
• Support in the preparation of VAT returns and other mandatory VAT filings
• Serve as a business partner to the operating and finance teams to ensure compliance with standard accounting principles and ensure compliance of different VAT legislations and rules
• Set up and align on critical controls to safeguard VAT compliance
• Support VAT training and guidance

 
About You:

Something that will help you excel

• You have a Degree in business administration or equivalent.
• You have minimum 3 years of experience in VAT (preferably from working in an international company)
• Good understanding of VAT system and VAT related topics
• You have strong IT skills (especially SAP) and you are accustomed with MS Office software.
• Good communication and interaction skills in English
• Proactive, result driven approach and good analytical skills
• Precision with high attention to details
• Self-motivation and flexibility for the implementation of time-critical projects
• Assertiveness and autonomous structured working methods
• A team-player with an ability to deal with a range of stakeholders

Salary Range in Lithuania: 4600 - 5800 per month (before tax). The final offer will be based on the experience and competencies of the selected candidate.
