Program Manager - ERP projects

We’re looking for an experienced Program Manager to lead complex, business-driven SAP implementation programs and embed best-in-class practices across Outokumpu.

About the role As Program Manager – ERP (SAP) Projects, you will lead end-to-end ERP programs from prestudy through hypercare, coordinating cross-functional teams, system integrators, and external partners. You will shape and govern our common ERP implementation model, drive business alignment, and ensure delivery to scope, budget, timeline, and quality targets. 

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver ERP programs and projects across Outokumpu
• Lead ERP implementation projects and establish a scalable implementation model and best practices
• Build and run program governance, including steering, decision-making, and controls
• Manage scope, budget, timeline, risks, dependencies, and quality across all workstreams
• Oversee supplier selection, contract management, and procurement with system integrators and vendors
• Ensure solution architecture aligns with business requirements and SAP standards
• Coordinate change management, communications, training, and business readiness
• Drive cross-functional collaboration and transparent executive reporting
• Develop project management competencies and ways of working within the organization

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading business-aligned SAP ERP implementation programs from prestudy to hypercare
• Demonstrated accountability for business transformations in the manufacturing industry
• Strong understanding of SAP modules and integration points
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Economics, or a relevant field
• 5–10 years’ experience leading ERP projects and programs
• Excellent stakeholder management, vendor management, and communication skills
• Solid command of IT project/program management methods, governance, and financials
