We are looking for an experienced Reliability and Asset Management Manager to strengthen our steel melt shop team in Tornio. In this responsible and versatile role, you will develop and implement maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods to improve overall facility and equipment reliability and performance. You will lead a team of specialists and manage a substantial budget.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Safety and Planning
- Lead the development of safe working practices and ensure occupational and process safety.
- Plan shutdowns, annual maintenance, and investment projects.
- Personnel and Leadership
- Lead your own team of six specialists and develop operational models in your area.
- Facilitate training and development programs for maintenance and operations staff to enhance their understanding of reliability principles and practices.
- Production and Maintenance
- Lead planning, modification, and investment projects.
- Manage maintenance project portfolios and budgets.
- Quality and Environment
- Support the achievement of quality and environmental goals in cooperation with other departments.
- Procurement and Development Activities
- Participate in the procurement and commissioning of new equipment.
- Lead root cause analyses of equipment failures and energy efficiency projects.
We expect you to have a relevant university degree and corresponding expertise, strong leadership and project management skills, and knowledge of equipment and process technology. We also expect more than 5 years of experience in the field and a proven track record. Fluency in both spoken and written Finnish and English is essential for success in this role. We value your ability to make decisions that impact the melt shop’s operations both in the short and long term.
