Manager - Rolling, Annealing and Pickling Line 5

We are looking for a Manager for RAP5 (Combined Rolling, Annealing and Pickling Line 5) to lead our operations toward excellence in safety, efficiency, and performance. 

As the RAP5 Manager, you’ll take the lead in one of the most vital areas of our Cold Rolling Mill, where safety, sustainability, and efficiency come together. You'll be at the forefront of driving operational excellence, shaping long-term strategy, and inspiring a dedicated team of nearly 70 stainless steel professionals—including 8 production supervisors and around 60 skilled operators on the shop floor.

Your Core Responsibilities

• Champion a strong safety culture to support our goal of an accident-free workplace
• Lead the RAP5 area to achieve production targets with planned conversion costs
• Act as an integral part of the Cold Rolling management team with readiness to substitute others when needed
• Lead information and data management within your area
• Ensure 5S practices and visual management are embedded and evolving
• Plan and steer your area with a 1–3 year horizon, including budgeting and team development

What You Bring

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Leadership experience in an industrial environment
• Strong decision-making skills, even under pressure
• Sense of urgency and ability to align strategy with daily operations
• Experience with continuous improvement and problem-solving methods
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Fluency in Finnish and English.
