Teamworker

The UK Service Centre is looking to recruit a Team Worker to work at their site in Sheffield

The main responsiilities of the role are:

•    To work in all designated operational areas as instructed by Shift Operations Managers
•    To set and operate machines.
•    To update computer system as is necessary upon completion of works instructions.
•    Consistently work within the Company’s Q.A. and Health, Safety and Environmental systems and procedures.
•    Assist with maintenance procedures within the limits of personal skill and competence.
•    Operate forklift trucks and overhead cranes for material handling.
•    Work to continuously improve the process and product.
•    Ensure that material is processed and packed to meet the required customer specification.
•    Maintain high standards of housekeeping in and around production areas

The ideal candidate should possess:

•    Current forklift truck license essential
•    Knowledge of basic measuring equipment
•    Knowledge and experience of the processes would be of benefit
•    Numerate with a practical aptitude
•    Flexibility in their approach to work, willingness to learn and work in other areas as required.
•    Ability to work as part of a team
•    Ability to communicate and work with all levels of personnel
•    Willingness to work overtime as necessary
•    Crane license required for particular activities
