Inside Sales

Location: 

Sheffield, GB

Outokumpu Stainless Distribution is looking to recruit an Inside Sales person to work at the Sheffield Service Centre.

The purpose of the role is to provide internal sales support.

The main responsibilities of the role are:

  • Process and handle all aspects of customer enquiries and orders from receipt to order fulfilment.
  • Administration of designated customers including all aspects of communication.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Provide support to field sales and key account managers as required.
  • Liaise with production units to ensure that customer requirements are met in a timely fashion and according to plan.
  • Acquire comprehensive product and customer knowledge in order to discuss and inform on developments both internally and with customers, and to support new product development initiatives.
  • Communicate market information.
  • Manage and maintain customer information using CRM.

Shared accountabilities: 

  • Delivery of sales plan (with other commercial team)
  • Responsible for maintaining stock levels for designated key accounts (with KAM, SCM)

The ideal candidate should:

  • Have Maths & English Grade 4-7 (A-C)
  • Be an effective communicator, both written and verbal
  • Have the ability to work as part of a team and with all levels of personnel
  • Have the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Be organised 

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
