Drive Excellence with Outokumpu as our Commercial Excellence Manager! 

 

Are you ready to lead and support a transformative Commercial Excellence programme within a major international company? Outokumpu is looking for an experienced and motivated Commercial Excellence Manager to drive and develop our Commercial Excellence and Customer Experience initiatives within the Business Line Advanced Materials. 

 

The Role: 

As the Commercial Excellence Manager, you will be integral to developing, implementing, and managing key projects and training initiatives aimed at enhancing organizational capabilities. You will work with cross-functional teams, facilitate best practices, and ensure that our commercial strategies are data-driven and effective. 

 

Your Responsibilities: 

  • Develop, implement, and manage specific projects and training programs to build organizational capabilities in commercial excellence. 
  • Oversee global and cross-functional projects, ensuring successful integration of initiatives into systems and processes. 
  • Deliver training, coach individuals, and facilitate sessions to share best practices. 
  • Conduct deep-dive commercial analyses to ensure initiatives are based on data and measure their success both immediately and long-term. 
  • Facilitate and encourage the sharing of best practices across teams to drive continuous improvement. 

 

Your Profile: 

  • Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics (or comparable experience) preferred 
  • Preferably some initial experience in a commercial excellence or consulting role. 
  • Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal). 
  • Strong presentation and project management skills. 
  • A solid understanding of business operations. 
  • Proactive, self-managed, with a high level of ownership and accountability.  
  • Willingness to travel as needed for project work is preferred.

Location and Reporting: The position is flexible within Europe, with an Outokumpu site as a base. You will report to the Head of Commercial Excellence & Customer Experience.
