As a global leader in Stainless Steel, we're seeking a dynamic fully bilingual Data & Business Analyst (remote)  and be part of our Sales team from San Luis Potosi, Mexico.


Purpose of the role:  The Business Analyst is responsible for helping the BA Americas team analyze and evaluate the current business processes and identify areas to improve its commercial operations. Using data analytics and research techniques, the Business Analyst should recommend how the business can better manage and execute growth initiatives. This should all drive sales enablement improvements across all stages of the buying journey.

•    By conducting daily systems analytics to maximize effectiveness, be the voice of customer research, managing data retrieval and its analysis to determine future strategies or short-term enablement projects.
•    Using data analytics tools to improve data literacy that our leadership teams can use confidently and make decisions that improve the financial performance of the business. 
•    Discover reporting needs that increase the pace of sales enablement, creating dashboards and reports that will bring relevant insights for different types of audiences.
•    Consult with tier 1 customers on all agreed programs where risk is removed using diligent data analysis. 
•    Using data, support sales forecasting, quota setting, and sales performance management.
•    Continually improve and automate methods of gathering data efficiently and incorporating it into models adhering to best practices.
•    Responsible for data quality and compiling charts, tables, and other elements of data visualization discovering needs that improve the team’s efficiency or pace of sales enablement executions including.
•    Help (...and influence) sales teams with their negotiation goals by providing timely insights and recommendations that optimize our assets. Liaise between various business departments and groups.
•    Be an advocate for advanced analytics and automation to streamline efficiencies. 
•    Support Critical decisions that shape digital Transformation (data governance, Data Structure, Data integrity)
•    Cleanse, test and/or transform data tables, reports, or source content to ensure complete, consistent, current, and reliable information, including analytic reports and dashboards.
•    Build Statistical models to help increase sales, revenue and reduce costs.
Share accountabilities:
•    Mapping customer journeys with Sales Enablement to identify pain points that customers experience across interfaces; from quote to invoice to claim. 
•    With Market Intel, create BI reports/dashboards that improve stakeholder (Sales) decision making and make them better at interpreting analytics.
•    Develop initiatives and help drive OTK's cultural and behavioral change across teams which includes exemplary safety awareness.
•    Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field (certification in Statistics, Data science or Business Analytics)
•    Advance English level oral - written (mandatory)
•    Data mindset:  5 years’ experience analyzing large data sets to identify effective ways of boosting organizational efficiency.
•    Analyzing data models to deliver logical conclusions, performing complex data analysis.
•    Data Dexterity: proficiency in MS Excel including nested formulas, pivot tablet. PowerBi or any other data tool is a plus.
•    Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
•    Leadership: Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
•    5+ years of experience as data analyst or similar role in B2B Customer Service, Sales, or Marketing - preferably in the Manufacturing industry.
•    Previous experience using data modelling practices to analyze your findings and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changes.
•    Projects. Proven ability to create business cases and execute multiple projects simultaneously by gathering, reviewing, and analyzing business and industry data, including KPIs.
•    Business results orientation. Seeks to understand business needs and works to anticipate, identify, and meet end-user needs.
Skills and Competencies:
•    Business User level knowledge on O365 Power Platform (Power Automate and Power Apps)
•    Power BI and DAX (is the language to work(model) with data inside Power bi)
•    Python, SQL or any other programming language for Data Analysis is a plus 
•    Knowledge of Data Strategy and a natural aptitude for mathematics, statistic, and numerical data.
•    Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
•    Data Analytics & Visualization presentation skills .
•    Credibility and integrity; being detail-oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy.
•    Ability to work across business lines at senior levels to influence and effect change to achieve common goals plus think creatively.
•    Understanding business strategies, goals, and requirements 
•    Excellent communication skills, with the ability to talk and present to a range of audiences, sometimes acting as a translator between parties.
•    The ability to work under pressure on multiple projects within your project timeframes.


Salary range: 50,180- 62,730 pesos.
