In this Role, you’ll spearhead the transformation of our global commercial organization towards world class specialty business capabilities.
Your mission: to elevate sales, marketing, application development & technical, pricing, service, and digital strategy — all while building a world-class customer experience.
You’ll shape strategy, inspire leaders, and drive measurable impact across the business.
What You’ll Lead & Deliver:
- Lead Leaders & Teams - Inspire high-performing commercial teams across clusters. Create trust, build capability, and drive collaboration.
- Set the Standard in Pricing - Design and implement pricing strategies tailored to regional and industry dynamics. Lead pricing excellence globally.
- Fuel Digital Growth - Accelerate digital marketing and lead management initiatives. Improve the customer journey through innovation and teamwork.
- Shape Commercial Excellence - Run annual diagnostics. Turn insights into high-impact initiatives. Guide change, manage partners, and deliver business value.
- Leverage Intelligence - Develop a leading CE system powered by market, customer, and competitor data. Enable smart, data-driven decisions.
- Champion Strategic Initiatives - Collaborate with top leadership on high-level projects that shape the future of our commercial organization.
What You Bring to the Table:
- A degree in Business, Economics, or similar (Bachelor’s or Master’s)
- Experience in senior commercial roles with business line responsibility
- Track record in change management and driving major transformation programs to success
- Strong background in corporate and industrial manufacturing B2B environments (e.g. chemicals, metals, …)
- Strategic and financial acumen, paired with analytical thinking
- Proficient in project leadership, tools, and modern commercial approaches
- Digitally experienced and data-driven decision-maker
- Proven leader, excellent communicator, and cross-functional influencer
- High integrity, visionary mindset, and passion for excellence
- Intercultural skills and experience working abroad in global organizations
What success looks like:
- From strategic ambition backwards identify the critical success factors relative to the organization’s current capabilities to develop, refine and implement the Commercial Excellence and Customer Experience roadmap.
- Track and achieve key performance indicators aligned with the Commercial Excellence strategy. Drive continuous improvement and transparency
- Deliver measurable business impact
- Establish and maintain a strong opportunity pipeline for new business generation, ensuring long-term, sustainable growth
- Achieve best-in-class customer satisfaction through enhanced service levels, value-based engagement, and commercial innovation
