Network Specialist (m/f/d) (Germany)

We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Network Specialist (m/f/d) who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys solving complex technical challenges. You’ll support local IT projects, maintain and improve network operations, and work closely with external vendors and internal stakeholders. Your Impact:

• Support local IT projects and assist vendors with troubleshooting network issues
• Maintain and optimize local network infrastructure (LAN, WLAN, firewalls)
• Plan, install, and manage network hardware (switches, access points, firewalls)
• Coordinate structured cabling (Ethernet/Fiber) and maintain documentation
• Handle network incidents and implement changes and upgrades
• Configure and manage firewall rules (Palo Alto), including reviewing access requests
• Create and maintain network documentation (diagrams, configs, procedures)

What you bring:

• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN)
• Hands-on experience with HPE Aruba switches, wireless controllers, and Palo Alto firewalls
• Familiar with network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., Wireshark, SNMP)
• Experience in managing LAN, WAN, and WLAN in corporate environments
• Knowledge of Azure networking is a plus
• Comfortable working in production/manufacturing settings
• ITIL Foundation certification or higher
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
• Excellent communication skills in both English and German
• Valid driver’s license required

Start Date: As soon as possible. 

Location: You will be based in Krefeld, Germany. Travel to other sites within Germany  (Dillenburg/ Sachsenheim) on a weekly/bi-weekly basis is expected.
