Lead IT On-Site Support as an IT Team Lead Central Europe with Outokumpu! 

 

Are you ready to deliver reliable IT services and lead a team of specialists across Central Europe? Outokumpu is seeking a driven and experienced IT Team Lead, On-site Support to oversee operational efficiency, service improvement, and the management of external partners. 

 

The Role: 
As the IT Team Lead for On-site Support Central Europe, you will be responsible for delivering reliable services at our regional sites in Krefeld and Dillenburg. You will lead a team of IT specialists, ensuring that operations run smoothly and services meet business needs. In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal and external IT teams to improve service efficiency and standardize processes. Additionally, you will manage service performance, budgets, and external partnerships, all while focusing on continuous improvement and standardization of customized services. 

 

Your Responsibilities: 

  • Lead a team of IT specialists, managing HR topics and ensuring operational efficiency. 
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations in IT operations. 
  • Deliver end-user support, including custom-built services like fixed/mobile telephony. 
  • Standardize and consolidate devices, applications, solutions, and processes. 
  • Provide support for end-user computing (desktops, laptops, mobile devices, VDI solutions), local network, and firewall maintenance. 
  • Manage data centers, including power, environment, access, and safety. 
  • Take responsibility for service performance, budget management, and outsourcing partnerships. 
  • Evaluate demand and continuously improve IT services. 
  • Ensure business satisfaction, IT service efficiency, and cybersecurity. 
  • Harmonize processes and consolidate solutions with IT and business teams. 
  • Collaborate with internal and external IT teams and provide budgeting input for IT services, including managing purchases and invoices. 

 

Your Profile: 

  • An academic degree or equivalent qualification in an IT-related discipline. 
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, end-user support, and development duties. 
  • Excellent communication skills in both German and English, spoken and written. 
  • Proven leadership and management capabilities, with the ability to work with people at all hierarchical levels. 
  • ITIL foundation and project management skills are an advantage.
