Network Service Manager

Outokumpu, the global leader in stainless steel, is looking for a hand on and technical Network Service Manger to join the Compute and Network service. Your main role will be to manage the LAN for Central Europe and our global sales offices.

Ongoing responsibilities

· Operational management; SLA and service performance analysis of ITSM processes (Incident, Request, Change, Problem)

· Demand evaluation and recommendations

· Co-ordinate and manage onsite support activities

· Aid suppliers in root cause analysis and ensure preventative tasks are complete

· Help to co-ordinate changes and work with technical teams to ensure successful releases

· Manage 3rd party vendors, manage the vendor governance, vendor SLAs etc

· Aid suppliers and security teams in tightening and ensuring security policies and guidelines are followed

· Invoice checking, and ensuring budget compliance

· Identify opportunities to enhance the service and drive continuous improvement

· Ensure lifecycle management of hardware and software components is followed through a mixture of vendor management and directly co-ordinating device replacement

· Ensure service related documentation and service related information in CMDB is up to date

· Identify and mitigate grey areas of support within the service

· Identify risks, including cyber and operational and propose solutions (including, technical, operational and security related)

· Support and provide close collaboration with key stakeholders within IT and business

· Act as SPOC for network related questions, from business, IT and vendors

Key Technical Experience, Knowledge, and Qualifications

· Experience of working in a production/ manufacturing industry

· 5+ years in similar role

· Technical knowledge

· Broad knowledge of networking fundamentals and LAN and WLAN infrastructure (specifically Aruba and Palo Alto Networks)

· Knowledge or experience of network device replacement

· Knowledge of Azure network is advantageous

· Knowledge of Aruba and Palo Alto Networks tools is advantageous (eg Aruba Central, Clearpass, Panorama)
