The Outokumpu Customer Portal is a B2B eCommerce and eService web site offered to Outokumpu customers in Europe. It is implemented as a modern, layered architecture, based on SAP eCommerce, a microservice layer on Azure, SAP Integration Suite and a variety of regional and global ERP order and fulfilment systems.

Your Role 
 

As a Lead Developer, you will oversee the end-to-end technical implementation of the Outokumpu Customer Portal—a sophisticated B2B eCommerce and eService platform serving our European customers. You will lead a team of talented developers, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with architectural goals, and be responsible for: 

• Leading and participating in the development of SAP Commerce Cloud & Azure solutions.
• Defining and communicating the architectural roadmap for the customer portal.
• Providing guidance and support for all portal layers above the ERP integration.
• Managing full stack release planning and ensuring seamless delivery.
• Collaborating with UX/UI designers, developers, and architects to ensure best practices and high-quality integration.

What We’re Looking For 
 

Qualifications: 

• A relevant academic degree with at least 5 years of experience in a Technical Architect or Development Lead role.
• Expertise in SAP Commerce Cloud, Azure, and eCommerce platforms.
• Strong hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, microservice architecture, and database management.
• Proven leadership and communication skills to drive development and architecture initiatives.
• Experience with performance optimization, security best practices, and scalable architecture.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Location: This role can be based at any Outokumpu location in Europe. Occasional travel may be required.
