EUS Application Specialist (VDI)

Interested in developing your expertise in modern workplace technologies? Join our End User Services team as an Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Specialist and help ensure a reliable, secure, and seamless digital workplace experience for our employees.
What you'll do
- Support the day-to-day operations of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), including host pools, session hosts, workspaces, and published applications
- Perform standard operational tasks such as start/stop, resizing, reimaging, and maintenance using Nerdio Manager
- Assist with golden image updates, patching, validation, and session host refresh activities
- Monitor platform health, performance, scaling, and alerts, resolving or escalating issues where needed
- Troubleshoot user sessions, connectivity, RDP/SSO, FSLogix profiles, and performance issues
- Maintain accurate ITSM tickets, CMDB records, runbooks, and knowledge articles
- Follow ITIL processes, security standards, and change management procedures
- Collaborate with Service Desk, Architects, Service Managers, Cyber Security, Application Owners, and external partners to improve service quality and automation
- Provide 3rd level support for End User Services, including participation in an on-call rotation
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
- 2+ years of experience in IT support, service desk, Windows administration, or End User Computing
- Knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop, including host pools, session hosts, workspaces, and application groups
- Understanding of Azure virtual machines, networking, and storage
- Familiarity with Windows 10/11 multi-session environments and FSLogix profiles
- Experience with Nerdio Manager is an advantage
- Basic PowerShell skills and strong analytical troubleshooting abilities
- Understanding of ITSM processes, documentation, and change management
- Strong communication skills and fluent English
