Summer Trainee - IT

Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated IT student for our Summer Trainee position to join our End User Services team in Helsinki. As an End User Services Trainee, you will be involved in various IT support activities, contributing to the smooth operation of our IT services. This role offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic IT environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Outokumpu IT 2nd and 3rd level ticket resolution eg.

1. • Active Directory object management
   • Azure Virtual Desktop host pool management
   • CMDB content validation
   • IDM ticket resolution (Identity Access Management)
   • Hardware lifecycle management
   • Software installations

Working as a part of Helsinki End-User Support team 

• • Provide support for end-users (Windows, O365) and End user devices including desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and VDI solutions.
  • Workstation installations according to agreed procedures  
  • Provide support for printing devices and for Meeting room equipment
  • Provide support for network team related to Helsinki Network & Firewalls
  • Provice support for Cyber Security as per need
  • Participate in Office Move project

Requirements:

• Language Skills: You should be able to communicate fluently in both English and Finnish.
• Academic Progress: You should be making good progress in your studies, ideally pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Communication: Be able to communicate clearly and professionally with both internal team members and external partners.
• Standard Practices: Use approved standard methods to ensure your work is consistent and reliable.
• Documentation: Keep all your documentation accurate and up to date.
• Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with both internal IT teams and external delivery partners.
