Summer Job - Finance Business Analytics & AI Process Developer Trainee

We are looking for a Summer Trainee to become our Business Analytics & AI Process Developer-Trainee to join our Finance Business Analytics team as part of Finance Development for a focused, high impact 3 month assignment.

In this role, you will work at the intersection of analytics, finance, and AI, documenting selected business analytics processes in a structured, standardized way—ideally in a format ready to be consumed as AI skills or agents. Based on the documented processes, you will identify opportunities to automate selected tasks and workflows, contributing directly to the development of scalable, AI enabled finance capabilities.
This is a hands on role, suited for someone who enjoys turning tacit knowledge into explicit, reusable, and automatable assets.

What we’re looking for

• Students or recent graduates with Educational background in engineering, computer science, analytics, data science, finance, or business administration.
• Strong interest in business analytics, process design, and automation.
• Ability to translate complex analytical or business processes into clear, structured documentation.
• Curiosity and hands on mindset towards AI enabled workflows, automation, or intelligent agents.
• A proactive, structured working style with the ability to work independently in a short term assignment.
• Strong communication skills in English

Prior experience in finance analytics, process automation, scripting, or low code / AI tooling is an advantage—but motivation and learning ability are equally important.

Key responsibilities

• Document selected finance business analytics processes and workflows, with a focus on clarity, reusability, and AI readiness.
• Structure process documentation so it can be directly leveraged as AI skills, agents, or copilots (e.g. inputs, outputs, rules, decision logic).
• Identify automation opportunities within documented processes and prioritize candidates based on value and feasibility.
• Design and implement proof of concept automations for selected analytics tasks or subprocesses.
• Collaborate closely with members of the Finance Business Analytics and Finance Development teams to validate process logic and ensure practical applicability.
• Deliver tangible outputs within the 3 month period (documented processes, automation prototypes, and recommendations).
