Senior Manager - Financial Accounting Solutions and ERP

At Outokumpu we are seeking a forward-thinking Senior Manager – Financial Accounting Solutions and ERP’s to join our Operational Finance - Processes, Data and Technology team and drive world-class ERP and IT solutions development. This is a fixed-term position for two years, offering you a unique opportunity to leave your mark at the global leader in sustainable stainless steel!

As the Business Solution Owner for Financial Accounting IT solutions, you’ll play a key role in enabling the realization of our Finance North Star. You’ll lead development, implementation, and strategic governance of ERP and IT solutions such as SAP S/4 Hana, R2R-FI/CO and AICO—turning vision into action across Outokumpu's global finance organization.

You will be based in our HQ Office in Helsinki and report to VP – Finance Operations & Processes.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Act as Project Manager for the S/4 Hana R2R-FI/CO implementation and other strategic Finance IT initiatives.
• Own the development and delivery of Financial Accounting systems and integrations (e.g. S/4 Hana and AICO), including access rights and GRC responsibilities.
• Drive the Finance IT project portfolio governance, methodologies, and benefit realization tracking.
• Coordinate and empower the Finance Key Super User and Development Manager network.
• Support Outokumpu’s strategic transformations—M&A cases, new business models, and ERP strategy execution.

What We’re Looking For

• Master’s degree in Finance or related field
• 5+ years of experience in Finance IT systems or ERP implementations
• Strong Project Management background
• Deep knowledge of ERP platforms (SAP S/4 Hana or similar), Finance tools, and automation technologies (RPA, AI, ML)
• A natural collaborator with excellent communication and leadership skills
• Fluent English (plus local language, if applicable)
