Outokumpu is on the lookout for a forward-thinking Invoice-to-Pay (I2P) Process Owner to lead the optimization and automation of our I2P (i.e accounts payable) processes. In this pivotal role, you’ll not only ensure the efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance of our I2P process but also drive its evolution into the next era with cutting-edge automation and best practices.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Drive Global Process Excellence: Take ownership of the I2P process across our global operations, ensuring optimal performance, quality, and compliance within the P2P end-to-end process.
• Innovate & Automate: Be the visionary behind process improvements, continuously identifying automation opportunities and spearheading innovative solutions.
• Shape the Future: Create and execute a strategic roadmap to align I2P with Outokumpu’s Finance strategy, contributing to the transformation of finance operations across the organization.
• Lead Collaborative Projects: Work hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams, including the Finance Services organization, to continuously improve the end-to-end P2P process.
• Contribute to ERP Transformation: Play a key role in Outokumpu’s strategic ERP transformation journey, working to enhance the integration of I2P processes, including accounts payable with our global ERP template

What You Bring:

• Strong Financial Acumen: A degree in Finance or related field, with 5+ years of relevant experience in process management, finance operations, or finance development.
• Leadership & Vision: Proven ability to lead cross functional teams, collaborate across regions, and implement strategic initiatives.
• Digital Savvy: Solid understanding of ERP systems (SAP S/4 HANA preferred) and an eagerness to embrace digital tools such as RPA, AI, and machine learning to drive process automation.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong skills in data analysis and process optimization (e.g., process mining and Lean methodologies) to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Project Management Skills: Experience of managing global projects.
• Global Communication: Fluency in English, with excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Process Ownership: A mindset that thrives on owning and improving complex processes with a long-term view.

Location & Reporting:

This position is based in Helsinki, Finland, or Vilnius, Lithuania, with flexibility for travel. You will report to Raakel Leppähaara, Senior Manager – Finance Processes.
