Head of HR Digital Transformation & People Analytics

Outokumpu is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of HR Digital Transformation & People Analytics to join our global HR organization. In this pivotal role, you will lead the development and execution of our HR digitalization and analytics strategy, strengthen our people data capabilities, and ensure the adoption of modern, value driven technologies that support efficient, compliant, and future oriented HR operations. 

 

You will be a member of Outokumpu’s HR Management Team, working in close collaboration with senior HR leadership to align digital initiatives with our global people agenda. 

 

The position can be based in Helsinki or in any other main Outokumpu location. 

 

Your Key Responsibilities 

 

  • Define and implement a comprehensive global HR digital and AI transformation strategy, including team structure, operating model, and adoption of innovative technologies that enhance both efficiency and employee experience.  
  • Develop and govern Outokumpu’s HR technology landscape and people data architecture, ensuring scalable solutions that enable robust reporting, planning, and advanced analytics.  
  • Lead the people analytics agenda, delivering actionable insights that support strategic decision making and overall business performance.  
  • Drive change management and organizational adoption for new systems, ensuring smooth transitions and effective integration into HR operations.  
  • Promote a culture of digital advancement and collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to ensure alignment of HR digital initiatives with business objectives.  
  • Own and govern GDPR compliance, data ethics, and privacy across the full HR landscape, encompassing all processes, systems, and people data. 

 

What we expect from you 

 

  • Extensive experience in international HR technology and/or people analytics leadership, with strong capability to guide complex global initiatives.  
  • Strong technical and analytical expertise, including data science, AI, statistics, and data privacy, combined with a data driven mindset.  
  • Proven ability to define and execute HRIT roadmaps and manage large-scale, complex project portfolios through successful implementation.  
  • Demonstrated leadership, consulting, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to influence all organizational levels.  
  • Pragmatic and solution-oriented working style with strong business acumen and a focus on delivering measurable business value.  
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Finnish, Swedish, or German is an advantage.
