Concept Owner - SCM Solutions

Helsinki, FI Torshälla, SE Tornio, FI Avesta, SE Dabrowa Gornicza, -, PL Degerfors, SE

Join Outokumpu’s IT Supply Chain Solutions team as a Concept Owner. You’ll own two key solutions:

  • Azure-based SCM applications and data products (reporting and tailor made apps)
  • SAP solution for Semi Finished materials

 

Role summary: You will coordinate development and support, set the vision and roadmap, and ensure these solutions deliver business value.

 

Key responsibilities

 

  • End to end ownership and strategy for both solutions; align with adjacent teams and platforms
  • Define vision and roadmap; manage backlog, sprints, and releases; steer DevOps and vendor teams
  • Drive standardization, automation, and industry best practices
  • Design and evolve data architecture and data services
  • Service management: incident and escalation handling, continuous improvement, contracts; collaborate with Service Delivery and Service Desk
  • Financials: budgeting, monthly forecasting, invoicing, and KPI tracking
  • Lead stakeholder engagement and change initiatives
  • Manage IT/business projects and run quarterly SAFe Program Increment activities

 

You’ll be supported by Outokumpu architects, application specialists, platform teams, and project managers; vendor teams provide technical development and support.

 

What we’re looking for

 

  • Several years’ experience in one or more: Supply Chain Management, Service Management, or IT development
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • Strong communication skills; proficiency in English; quick learner with a customer centric mindset
  • Proven ability to drive change, collaborate, and align diverse stakeholders

 

Desired qualifications

 

  • ITIL/IT Service Management
  • DevOps, Agile, SAFe
  • Strong architecture mindset

 

Location and reporting Based at a main Outokumpu location in Europe. Reports to Senior Manager – Supply Chain Solutions, Jukka Puurunen.
