Are you a detail-oriented business or IT student looking to gain hands-on experience in a commercial environment? We're looking for a motivated Summer Trainee to join our Commercial Excellence team and contribute to improving the quality and effectiveness of our sales operations.
About the Role
As a Commercial Excellence Summer Trainee, you will play an active part in supporting our sales organization (Outokumpu Advanced Materials) by ensuring our commercial data is accurate, up to date, and actionable. You'll work closely with sales colleagues across the organization, helping to maintain and develop our CRM system and other sales process tools. This is a great opportunity to get a real look at how data drives commercial decision-making in a professional business environment.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Updating and maintaining CRM data and other sales process information to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Collaborating with sales colleagues to identify and resolve data gaps or inconsistencies
- Contributing to Commercial Excellence initiatives aimed at improving sales processes and data quality
- Preparing and updating reports and data sets using Excel and other tools
We're looking for someone who is curious, communicative, and takes pride in doing things properly. You might be a perfect fit if you:
- Are currently studying business, information technology, or a related field
- Have a natural eye for detail and feel comfortable working with data and systems
- Are a confident communicator who enjoys working with different people and teams and have the ability to work in English
- Know your way around Excel and aren't afraid to dig into a spreadsheet
- Are eager to learn and take initiative in a professional setting
- Have some experience with CRM systems - this is a plus, but absolutely not required, as we'll provide full training
