As a Junior Health & Safety Specialist, you will work closely with the H&S Manager to ensure compliance with regulations, support day-to-day safety activities, and help maintain a culture of safety across our production and office spaces at the Castelleone site.

Responsibilities:

• Promote a safe working environment across the site by supporting health and safety initiatives and assisting in ensuring compliance with regulations and Outokumpu's internal standards, including implementing appropriate risk mitigation and control measures.
• Support day-to-day health and safety activities to drive continuous improvement in safety performance (e.g., reports, trainings, etc.).
• Contribute to risk assessments, audits, and reviews, ensuring proactive monitoring and management of health and safety risks.
• Assist in investigating incidents and accidents, producing timely corrective and preventive action plans.

Requirements:

• Open-minded and communicative, with a strong passion for health and safety, and a proactive attitude toward promoting a safety culture within the organization.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Upper secondary education required; university-level education in a relevant field is preferred.
• Preferred 1-2 years of experience in health and safety or related fields, or relevant experience.
• Fluent in Italian (mandatory) and B2 level in English, with good communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in office software applications.
