SAP Application Specialist

Solutions need to be provided efficiently, promptly handled, controlled, monitored, and implemented with minimum disruption to services. This position works from site one week a month.

Job qualifications and experience requirements:

A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualifications
7+ years experience in SAP ERP.
Proven 2-3 year of experience working with full life cycle implementations in SAP.

Competencies and skills:

Preferable experience in handling Projects with Agile Methodology
Must have a balanced mix of technical and business skills, and will work with an enterprise architect for strategic direction.
Strong interpersonal skills - attitude, team working skills, communication and facilitation skills, ability to work with diverse teams in a multicultural environment.

Some of the activities you will be doing includes:

Coordinate with SAP OSS for Standard Product Bugs / SAP Notes
Cross modules knowledge on Supply Chain, Finanance,
Manage Project activities for SAP Modules (MM, IM, SD, PP, FI, SCM)
Manage Data Reconciliation Activities, Analyze and Resolve Data Discrepancies.
Manage Testing Cycles.
Experience managing external users of SAP
Availability to travel to site one week every month
Conceptualize forward thinking business solutions and oversee design, development and delivery within the guidelines of the OTK BT&IT strategy.
Solutions may include both IT and business process creation and alignment.
Identify and interpret customer requirements mainly for solution as well as services.
Examine the current systems architecture, and work with business and technical staff to recommend solutions that result in more effective systems.
Supervise the enhancement and project process, - Oversee OTK providers (quality, productivity)
Prepare and coodinate status updates according to OTK guidelines.
Coordinate among various modules for cross-modules defects.
Coordinate with Offshore Team.
Provide / Present Weekly Status Updates to Project Committee.
Highlight Risks and Issues with Project activities / timelines, Work on mitigating the risks.
Prepare Cutover and follow up Hyper-Care Support for all SAP Modules after Go-Live
Employee may have to work off hours depending on needs of business (on call)

Salary range: US $100,000 to US $125,000 per annum
