As a global leader in Stainless Steel, we're seeking a dynamic Accounting Manager and be part of our team in Calvert, North Mobile County, Alabama. Relocation assistant can be provided.
In this role, you will provide day-to-day supervision of a group of clerical personnel for a specific segment of accounting or finance service activity.

Education & Experience:
• Relevant university degree in Finance or Accounting (required)
• Supported by an MBA or appropriate professional qualification (an advantage).
• 5 + years of relevant experience in Finance
• 2 + years of team leadership experience
• Spanish language speaker will be a plus
• Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP
• SAP/JD Edwards knowledge is an asset
• Strong data analytics and visualization presentation skills

Job Responsibilities:
• Manage, supervise and lead the transactional team to ensure proper staffing, work allocation, staff performance, motivation and development
• Organize, delegate and follow up the execution of all relevant finance processes within the team
• Acts as escalation point and supporting body for team member and customer question
• Manage work allocation and the performance appraisal process for all team employees; conduct team member development discussion
• Support and drive process development
• Manage stakeholder relationships to achieve maximum alignment and business value
• Projects related to process harmonization, improvement and digitalization
Ensure timely reporting of KPI’s
• Support Finance Director with Internal Control Deployment
Shared responsibilities:
• Responsible for conceptual fit, performance measurement and development
Manage improvement initiatives like RPA and Lean office at site level
Follow up, implementation and communication of country specific laws and legislation to GBS
• Participation in financial planning and forecasting
• Co-operation with Group Compliance, Internal Control and Internal Audit teams re. specified legal entity
Physical Requirements:
Perform repetitive movements when using computer equipment, including keyboard and mouse. Remain sitting for prolonged periods (6-8 hours) with the possibility of alternating with standing.
• Ability to speak and listen clearly in quiet or noisy environments.
Frequent reaching and manipulating objects with hands and arms.
Walk frequently within the office and plant, go up and down stairs, stoop or bow as necessary.
• Review documents in digital and physical format with a high level of visual precision.
• Lift and move objects weighing up to 20 kg occasionally.
Maintain flexibility and ability to shift between different tasks and locations within the plant and office.
• Ability to be transported by land or air means; willing to face long waiting and transfer times, both on national and international trips
Salary range: USD.118,800-148,500
