OPS Raw Material Controller

As a Raw Material Operations Business Controller, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimized cost and smooth flow of raw materials within our value chain which compose some 80% of total costs. You will be responsible for controlling and developing the end-to-end view for the procurement, cost and inventory management, distribution and physical control, and strategic alignment of our raw materials. You will need to work seamlessly across the business, especially with Raw material Procurement (RMP), Supply Chain Management (SCM), and Operations. Your focus on cost engineering, valuation reconciliation, risk mitigation, governance, and strategic planning will be crucial in optimizing our raw material operations, steering margins and supporting overall business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Cost Management: Collaborate with Procurement and Operations to minimize slab costs while maintaining quality. Forecast and analyze slab costs, linking cost engineering with supply chain strategies.
  • Strategic Planning: Align planning models with business objectives, connect departments, and ensure compliance with governance and risk controls.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records, implement control measures to optimize turnover, and conduct regular reconciliations to ensure accuracy.

 

Your qualifications:

  • Relevant degree in finance, supply chain, logistics, or related field.
  • Experience in finance, procurement, inventory, or supply chain roles, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to process improvement.
  • Swedish language skills preferred.
